The Embassy Suites The Woodlands at Hughes Landing consistently receives positive feedback for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, particularly highlighting the excellent breakfast and evening reception. However, recent reviews have raised concerns regarding inconsistent room key access and shower quality with hot water issues.
We may have just went on a bad night. Their server was down and we weren’t able to get room keys. Once the server was back up and people were getting room keys, one of the front desk guys was giving attitude to our boss who reserved these rooms months in advance.. there was a big issue with them not allowing them to access our room keys to distribute them to us. Then they couldn’t remember what rooms they gave us and asked us to go try the keys. My coworker used his key and walked in his room to find the room was occupied. We stayed for two nights and our room key wouldn’t work every time we left the room. We had to go back down to the front desk to get a new key at least 4 times. The rooms were clean just a little out dated. I liked the complimentary drink service. The bar was always busy and only had one bartender so there was usually quite a wait but she was nice.
I stayed at this hotel back in December. I have zero complaints. The location, staff, cleanliness of the hotel were perfect. I really appreciate how Chaunay, Dezmeon and the breakfast hostess (sorry forgot her name) were extremely kind and helpful on my visit. I will definitely be back.
We have stayed at this location numerous times over the past 7–8 years, including nearly every major holiday. This was not our first Valentine’s Day reservation here, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Prior to booking, we called to confirm early check-in because we had a scheduled 2:30 PM business meeting with employees flying in from California. We were told to “just come in” and that early check-in would be accommodated. That did not happen. Upon arrival, the manager on duty Ms. Chauncey informed us our room would not be ready until 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, our employees were checked in around 1:40 PM on the same floor. We returned at 2:45 PM hoping the room was ready, but again were told no. With minutes before an important executive meeting, we were forced to change in the downstairs restroom and hallway area with our luggage open in public view. Guests were walking by asking why we were dressing in the hallway instead of our room. It was embarrassing, lacked privacy, and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, when we expressed our concerns and mentioned contacting upper management, the manager responded with an eye roll and dismissive attitude. We have witnesses to this interaction. This ordeal made us 20 minutes late to our meeting and rushed into our early dinner reservation. Ironically, the meeting we were attending included discussion about which hotel we would select for future corporate events and social gatherings. Based on this experience, this property has now been excluded from consideration. As long-standing loyal guests, we expected far better treatment and professionalism. This experience left a very bad impression and cast a shadow over what was meant to be both an important business engagement and a special Valentine’s Day weekend.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton was awesome. Great staff! The breakfast was definitely delicious. The only thing that was missing was the grits. They had oatmeal but I don't eat that. Everyone there were just awesome. I recommend this place anytime.
Great hotel in great location. Dezmeon at the front desk is helpful. We had a slight billing issue that he resolved right away. I find the front desk staff both kind and inviting. We stay here every year for a Christmas party and I'm always well pleased.
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Due to different flight schedules, a member of our group arrived earlier than expected... In brief: upon my arrival, the guest services representative explained the misunderstanding on behalf of the member who arrived early and immediately resolved the cc issue. Thank you Mr. Dezmeon for the quick resolution! Nonetheless, our stay was immaculate. The suites were incredibly spacious, comfortable, cozy and well-appointed. We really enjoyed the atrium lobby with free made-to-order breakfast each morning and complimentary drinks and snacks during our nightly evening reception. The location couldn't be in a more perfect area. You'll love being in the heart of Hughes Landing, a modern hub within "The Woodlands," providing convenient access to both business and leisure (waterway, concerts at pavilion, shopping and dining) – to name a few. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Very impressed. Not a thing to complain about. Everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious suites with a privacy design. Loved being able to close thick doors to divide the living space, bathroom, and bedroom. Staff was kind, professional, accommodating, and just overall amazing. That breakfast- just wow! The local area was absolutely beautiful with lots of water fowl that I'd never seen before. Everything was walkable and there was even a free trolley for even more shopping and dining locations. Even the local mounted security were friendly. I highly recommend this location.
Best hotel to stay at is the Embassy Suites by Hilton at The Woodlands!!! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Spacious and quiet rooms. The whole team was accommodating. Will definitely book again when I’m in the Houston area/ The Woodlands.
We stayed here for a soccer tournament, and Kenyon, the manager at the front desk, assisted us with check-in—he was very polite and welcoming. We were on the 4th floor, and as someone who usually wipes down rooms before unpacking, I was impressed. Usually, I can see dirt on the wipes—not to say anything bad, as housekeeping is a demanding job with a lot to do in a short amount of time—but the room was very clean. With nine floors in the hotel, the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The ladies I saw working were very friendly, and one day we even saw a staff member as we were walking out and he asked us how we were and was very joyfull. He was wiping down the walls and doors as we headed out. If you’re coming for a tournament or traveling with kids, there are several convenient places within walking distance to grab snacks or food. There’s a Whole Foods, a Starbucks, and a few nice restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year!
We stayed here from Friday through Sunday. We got the queen suite with the pool view. We love the staffs, the room was very spacious, the property is in the best location. Its near every shopping stores you can think of, along with The Woodland Mall. The part was their pool. Our kids would stay there all day if you let them. I wish their parking was free, but other than that, we love our stay.
