Elevated Marriott right on the Woodland waterway Victoria at the front desk was so nice! There was another brunette lady who wasn’t so helpful and later always seemingly always on her cell phone but maybe it was just bad timing. The property is fantastically maintained and fantastically situated. The rooms are adorned with upscale furniture, plush beds and linens, new appliances, modern TV, etc. it’s one of the cleanest Marriott hotel rooms I’ve been in - even the areas you’d normally find dust or crumbs were spotless. The common areas are also well adorned. The property is right on the edge of the waterway with a Woodlands trolley stop close by and the mall within walking distance.

During my stay this past January at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, Jamie provided some of the best service I’ve experienced in any hotel. From the moment I was seated, Jamie demonstrated a level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality that immediately stood out. Jamie anticipated needs before I even had to ask, ensured everything was delivered promptly and exactly right, and maintained a warm, friendly demeanor throughout. What impressed me most was the balance of efficiency and personal attention — never intrusive, but always present at the right moment. It made the entire experience feel effortless and welcoming. In an industry where consistency matters, Jamie represents the gold standard. Their commitment to customer service reflects extremely well on the Marriott brand and the Woodlands Waterway property. Team members like Jamie are a key reason guests return. I look forward to staying here again, and I hope to see Jamie on a future visit.

Very good hotel in a great location. Stayed the night of a Valentine's Day dinner and had a great time. The one negative is that it seems they can't spend the effort to answer customer reviews, since all the responses to reviews are obviously AI generated.

I attended an industry conference at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and I was thoroughly impressed. The overall layout for the convention space was very spacious and pretty much perfect for the type of convention we held. The lunch was some of the best hotel-provided food I have ever had (check pictures). Everything was made so well like I was at a nice restaurant. Big shout out to them. Last thing I will mention is how nice it is that the hotel is right next to the Woodlands Waterway. It was really nice to go on walks and have conversations with customers outside of the havoc of the convention and at a much more peaceful and beautiful place. I would be happy to attend another conference here!

We attended a WhistlePig Bourbon Dinner here, and had the most enjoyable evening. We were seated indoors with a beautiful view of the Waterway and the fire pits outside, with the trees lit up, which created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The chefs did a great job with the menu, everything was thoughtfully prepared and well-paced. The octopus appetizer and the bison tenderloin stood out, and the courses paired nicely with the bourbon without feeling heavy. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the evening. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant, not just for out-of-town guests, but also for locals or anyone looking for a relaxing staycation. Thanks to Guillermo and Ling-Ling at the front desk. Their extraordinary customer service is awesome! Food is tasty and fresh. If you want to avoid noisy company group party, Lounge is quiet and comfortable. Enough drinks and snacks make you relax. I came in the weekend, so there’s no happy hour appetizer provided. Maybe I should come another time to stay.

This is an modern, near-luxury Marriott property with a great location on the The Woodlands Water Way. It also has a convention center that I did not visit. Location: right on the water way for year around extensive strolls. We were there during the Holiday Lights and they were wonderful (that time of year). The Cynthia Woods Pavillion is essentially next door. Great place to stay for a concert. The Woodlands Mall and Town Center are a short walk. There are many restaurants and bars super close to the hotel, both on the water way and the surrounding blocks. It's pet friendly and a fun place for kids. The hotel is spacious and has many indoor and outdoor seating areas so you won't feel crowded. There are bicycles available for guests. The breakfast buffet was a nice touch. The M Club is nice as well. We had a one night getaway from about 60 miles away and it was quite enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

My husband recently had a lovely stay at this hotel for a business trip. Unfortunately, a package that was expected to arrive during his stay was delayed and arrived post departure. I contacted the hotel to have the package redirected and received truly exceptional service. Darren was responsive, thoughtful and efficient in addressing my concerns. He provided the kind of service that instills confidence and trust, making it an easy decision to stay with Marriott hotels again in the future.

Paid good money to stay at a safe and clean hotel-the beds are terrible hard as rock. Didn’t get any sleep and when we said something to the Manager, he was rude and very unhelpful. Acted like it was our problem, we will never stay at this hotel again. The manger could have done something and choose to be a jerk instead.

Location is fantastic, with so many restaurants nearby. The paths along the Waterway are great for morning runs and evening walks. And then there is Ling Ling. Probably the absolute best Marriott front desk individual I have ever met! Highly recommend this hotel and staff, if you are in the area.
