What a wonderful 1-night father-son stay! Kimberlee greeted us and was so kind to my son, making him feel special. The hotel was clean and well-kept, our tidy room had a great view of Willy's from the 3rd floor (my son picked the top floor), and the heated pool was clean and not over-chlorinated. Kimberlee was just as kind on departure. We will be back for the kindness and the hotel! Great job, Kimberlee!

The bed is like a water bed, each move is amplified . The elevator didn’t work, we were stuck on the third floor with our suitcases! Someone told us he told the desk guy the day before but they didn’t fix it. The breakfast is very low quality. The two stars are for the desk lady who was very nice and helpful

The hotel is okay, but not worth the cost. I stayed here for the indoor pool. It was heated so it was comfortable and the kids enjoyed that. The echo is horrible and the pool is small so if more than 2 families are in there it is uncomfortable. The staff is friendly, and helpful. I had to switch rooms because the tv didn’t work. The tv was small in my opinion. The beds were okay. Overall it was pretty clean, although there was a lot of spackle all over the carpets and the hotel seemed to be being remodeled. There is no ventilation in the room at all and it makes the room humid and musty. You can’t open the window at all either. The air is set to Celsius and there’s no room temperature setting. You either freeze or sweat. I was up and down adjusting the thermostat all night. Breakfast wasn’t great. Mediocre at best and very few options. The lady running the breakfast was chaotic and let the food run empty and people had to wait because there was nothing there. The waffle mix was done incorrectly and was like a gel and wouldn’t cook and stuck to the waffle iron. Bagels and yogurt not refilled. This was a huge negative for our trip. I feel like the hotel should be charging half of what they charge for a room. I will not be booking here again.

Dear Marriott Management Team, I am writing to file a formal and urgent complaint regarding the unacceptable conditions and service failures we have experienced during our stay. What we have encountered so far is entirely inconsistent with Marriott’s standards and absolutely not aligned with the price we are paying for this stay. Since our arrival on December 6—and now several days later on December 9—our experience has been completely unacceptable for a Marriott property. Below are the issues that remain unresolved despite multiple room changes and repeated inconveniences: 1. No Housekeeping for Three Days: 2. First Room – Severely Poor Cleanliness. The first room assigned was in deplorable condition. The bathroom contained visible hair, the shower had spiders, and overall it was clear the room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. 3. Second Room – Overwhelming Humidity Odor and Poor Hygiene: The second room had such an intense humidity smell that it was nearly impossible to breathe. Once again, the shower had spiders. 4. Third Room – Refrigerator Failure, Food Spoilage, and Additional Issues: In the third room, the refrigerator stopped working entirely, causing all of our food to spoil. Additionally, the air conditioning stopped working and required maintenance to reset. The bathroom fan continuously produces a loud rattling noise that makes it very difficult to rest. These issues are disruptive. Overall Property Condition and Service Quality: While we understand renovations may be taking place, the level of cleanliness and the service we have received are far below any reasonable standard. Other than Kimberly—who has been the only proactive and helpful team member—there has been a concerning lack of customer service and accountability.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been in. Majority of the staff were rude and treated the guests (children included) as though we were bothersome and not paying customers. Cockroaches everywhere, moldy/mildew rooms, soupy eggs, you had to beg for towels, the list goes on. I want to call out the night shift staff (dark haired woman) specifically who went around banging on doors of the guests to figure out what rooms had kids in them. The day shift lady (curly hair) was wonderful but that's about it. Never again.

As a loyal Bonvoy member, I feel compelled to provide feedback on my recent stay at the Fairfield Inn/The Woodlands. Despite recognizing the staff's efforts, several issues need urgent attention. The property felt outdated, with a persistent musty odor throughout the building and worn-out carpeting. Poor air circulation made the hotel uncomfortably hot and humid. My room had noticeable maintenance problems, including a deteriorating wall, an unsightly popcorn ceiling, and a toilet that ran continuously. Housekeeping was below expectations, with an unclean room and items left from a previous guest. The musty odor was particularly unbearable, making me physically ill. Due to these concerns, I canceled my three-night stay and booked another hotel in Conroe. This experience has made me reconsider staying at Fairfield-branded properties. I generally prefer Springhill Marriott for their room sizes and recent renovations. While I understand Fairfield is an economy option, this location requires urgent updates. I recommend avoiding this hotel until improvements are made, even if it means paying more for a well-maintained property.

My room at the hotel was clean, however, the trash is not emptied daily and fresh towels are not brought to the room on a daily basis. Also, the phone in my room did not work. I reported the problem to the front desk. All staff members were super friendly, accommodating & helpful. A tasty breakfast was served daily and was included with the room. There was an indoor pool and exercise room. The hotel is located close to restaurants, shopping centers & other businesses.

Excellent stay at Fairfield Inn! The room was spotless, modern, and comfortable. Staff was warm and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Everything felt easy and well taken care of—would gladly stay again!

this hotel was just all right. Check-in was fairly easy. I didn’t have any issues. Typically I do run into some because I travel for work and I don’t have the physical card on file. The rooms were very dated as well as the elevator fitness center was small and lighting wasn’t great. The bathroom lighting also wasn’t the best. My room only had two towels which is fine but I like to place one on the floor in case it gets slippery whenever I shower first night was fine just a little bit loud from the highway my final night. My phone kept ringing I was asleep and the phone rang over and over starting at 12:24 AM. I did not know why and it frightened me because I typically am alone because I am here for work. I called the front desk and I believe his name is Kevin all he told me what to do was unplugged the phone or I could switch room I stated to him that I physically could not unplug the phone or I would take out the entire electrical circuit from the wall. The cord was a landline. I could not take it out and I could not take out the cord from the phone box the option to switch rooms. I did not feel comfortable with because it was mirroring 1 AM and again, I am a woman alone and if someone was trying to call me, I would be alone in the hallway because he stated he could not help. He would have to stay at the front desk, which is fine, but there was no care in his voice for what was going on. I am younger. I am 21. I’m not used to doing this travel thing alone, especially as a young woman so hearing that was disheartening I feel as if the customer service could’ve been a little bit better and that’s unfortunate. Breakfast was OK. Eggs were powdered and potatoes no flavor other than that. Great location.

The location was great with restaurants and Walmart next door. The best part of the hotel, in my opinion, was the pool! It was indoor and heated to be comfortable. It felt great and not cold like other indoor pools. The rooms were comfy, staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good. The only drawback was the lack of a microwave in the room but we managed without. I plan on returning here in the future!
