I had a sleepover for my daughter here. It was perfect. We had the two bedrooms so the girls had their own space. Love this place! Clean and recently updated.
My room had a bad smell, I went to change rooms but they where sold out. I had to go to target to get some air freshener. Everything else was fine
I stayed at this hotel with my family, including two autistic children under the age of 10. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. The front desk attendant, Patty, was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional during our interaction. Upon arrival, she instructed my nephew to take my children outside while I parked because they were being “too loud.” This was particularly upsetting, as my children are autistic and have sensory and communication challenges. Notably, this was the second interaction we had with her, and her demeanor was completely different when I initially checked in. In addition, we did not receive housekeeping services during our stay. I had to personally request fresh linens and change everything myself. Families with children who are autistic, sensory-sensitive, or non-verbal should be aware that this hotel may not be accommodating or understanding of their needs. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training on inclusivity and customer service.
This is my go to hotel in The Woodlands, even more so since it has been refurbished. I spend a lot of time away from home as a solo business traveller and don’t always want to eat out, so the kitchen concept is excellent if you just want a simple meal. The idea of a ‘home from home’ works well. Staff are friendly and actually recognise me from previous stays. I am already booked for my next two stays.
The hotel is under construction. The three different rooms I tried all smelled badly of either paint fumes, chemicals or mildew. Had to sleep in my vehicle in the parking lot for a little while then went in and slept a few hours and woke up with a headache from the paint smell. The front desk was not helpful, and neither was customer service phone number. Very frustrating!!! Not what I expect from Marriott. No compassion at all. A complete lack of customer service. I didn’t get rested for work and nobody cared. Front desk overnight attendant was unprofessional and rude. Assistant manager was somewhat helpful but not at all polite or nice. Terrible hospitality/customer service skills.
The 2 bedroom suits are wonderful & worth every penny on a long road trip. Very clean & comfortable. I prefer this setup over an Airbnb. The evening desk association on 7/24 was so welcoming & beyond friendly. I didn’t catch her name, but she is a gem! Hold on to her Marriott & give that woman a raise ?
We had a great experience, the room was clean and very nice. Equipped with a full kitchen was very nice. The staff very nice and professional. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and we hope this review helps thank you for reading our review.
The hotel is perfect for the price and location, the facility is clean and the rooms are comfortable, staff is pleasant and easy to talk to. However, the rooms were lacking enough toiletries ( lotions and soaps, etc. But I'll definitely recommend this hotel.
I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Woodlands Lake Front, Houston, for almost three weeks and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel offers in-room kitchens, which was very convenient for a longer stay. Having stores like Target nearby was also a big plus. Breakfast options were quite limited, which was a bit of a downside. Additionally, there was some disturbance due to ongoing renovation work during my stay. I also had to shift rooms a couple of times because of water issues, which was slightly inconvenient. However, the staff were very polite and helpful throughout, which made a positive difference. Despite the minor issues, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
